League of Women Voters of Loudoun County Bylaws (Revised June 2005)

The Meaning of Membership Booklet: This booklet explains what it means to be a member of the League, how League is structured and how things are done in the League. A great resource for a new League member!

Do Citizens Have Veto Power on Paying for Public Facilities?. This document was written in October 1998 when controversies erupted in Loudoun over two recently defeated bond referenda. The public was confused about exactly what they had voted for and about the power of their elected county representatives. In an effort to clarify the issue, the League of Women Voters of Loudoun County consulted a variety of legal and financial experts, an elected state representative, and numerous written documents to write this explanation which still applies today.
